JOSHUA from SEVENTEEN shares his heartfelt feelings about the “burnout” he recently experienced with his fans.

On June 4th, in a video posted on the YouTube channel “Narae-sik,” JOSHUA opened up during an interview with Park Na-rae, revealing that he had sometimes cried alone while reflecting on certain things. He explained:
“I was busy, and I ended up having a burnout.”
JOSHUA also recalled the moment SEVENTEEN won the “Grand Prize” at the 2023 MAMA after eight years of hard work. “It was so surprising and emotional. The members cried a lot. I was really grateful,” he shared. He added, “I don’t like showing that I cry. At home, I sometimes cry while thinking alone.“
When Park Na-rae asked him if he had recently been moved to tears, JOSHUA replied: “I should be grateful, but sometimes I think, ‘Why have I become so weak?‘” confessing that he felt mentally exhausted.
However, he also expressed:
“Lately, I’ve had burnout, and even when I was at my lowest, the CARATs always supported me. You gave me a reason to keep going. Thank you so much.”
He expressed his deep gratitude to the fans.
JOSHUA added: “Every time things were tough, I found comfort in watching YouTube or reading comments. If it weren’t for the CARATs, I would never have come this far.” He then concluded: “I hope you know that this is sincere. It might sound cheesy, but to us, CARATs, you are everything.“
