When a wave of energy and warmth sweeps through Paris, an unforgettable, festive concert is about to unfold.
TRENDZ, a 7-member boy group that debuted in 2022, has continuously touched the hearts of their fans ever since. Originally formed by Interpark Music Plus and now managed by Global H Media, this young group is establishing itself as one of the most promising K-pop acts of the 5th generation.
For its second European tour, TRENDZ wanted to give its fans an experience that would truly make all its FRIENDZ (the official fandom name) GLOW. Invited by Envol Productions, KSTATION TV had the pleasure of attending their Paris show as part of this European tour.
As soon as we arrived at the venue, we could feel the intense energy of the FRIENDZ. The atmosphere started to heat up during the opening act by the dance group NIGHTROSY, who ignited the stage with their dynamic and energetic performance.
Then, amid cheers from the fans gathered at Café de la Danse, EUNIL, HANKOOK, HAVIT, LEON, RA.L, YECHAN, and YOONWOO kicked off the evening with hits like “My way” followed by “Who.”
Returning to the French capital for the second time, the members of TRENDZ were determined to leave a lasting impression by showcasing their unique style through music and performance.
After a short break, we witnessed the vocal strength of a sub-unit made up of EUNIL, LEON, HAVIT, and YOONWOO through a Coldplay cover, while RA.L, YECHAN, and HANKOOK brought the rap segment to life, before showing off their performance skills with a medley of K-pop dance covers.
Throughout the concert, the group members expressed their joy at being in the City of Love and their excitement to meet their French FRIENDZ. Between their songs and sub-unit stages, they took a few moments to declare their love for their fans and how happy they were to be in France sharing their music.
The group then introduced its new song “Chameleon” from its latest single, along with fan favorites like “Villain” and “Vagabond.”
During a heartfelt moment of interaction with the fans, member HAVIT got to celebrate his birthday on stage, with the audience singing “Happy Birthday” to him in both Korean and French, an emotional moment for him.
Finally, even though neither FRIENDZ nor TRENDZ wanted the night to end, the concert wrapped up in a joyful atmosphere with “ddO ddO” and “New dayz”, a final moment of connection and celebration between the group and their fans.
In the end, what we’ll remember most from this concert is the contagious happiness of the members and the boundless energy of the FRIENDZ. With its vocal talent and exceptional stage presence, TRENDZ delivered an unforgettable show and an incredible experience for its fans. Special mention to the translator for the group, whose energy helped clearly convey the members’ words and enthusiasm to the fans.
For its second time in Paris, TRENDZ gave us a concert full of joy, humor, and performances that lived up to the group’s reputation, we can’t wait to see them back in France!
Finally, after its last concert in Warsaw on June 7, TRENDZ will conclude its European tour, having performed in 7 countries over 7 days.
