BIG OCEAN
BIG OCEAN brought its “Glow” back to Paris!

Since its debut, BIG OCEAN (CHANYEON, PJ, and JISEOK) has challenged K-pop norms as the first hard-of-hearing group. The trio distinguishes itself through a distinct artistic identity, centering Korean, English, and International Sign Language in its performances.
Following the cancellation of its European tour, “THE GREATEST BATTLE”, BIG OCEAN returned to Europe with a new tour, “FALL EUROPE TOUR: BEYOND THE SEA”, held throughout October and November 2026. This was an opportunity for PADO (fandom name) to reunite with the trio for the third time in Paris. Invited by PARASTAR ENTERTAINMENT, KSTATION TV had the privilege of attending this special reunion, which took place at L’Alhambra on October 31.
From the very first notes of “One man army”, BIG OCEAN set the tone for the evening. Fueled by PADO’s enthusiastic cheers, BIG OCEAN got the venue fired up before continuing with “Alive” and “Blow” with the same energy. To celebrate its return to the French capital, the trio had prepared several surprises for PADO, who came to celebrate Halloween alongside them.
“This is our third concert in Paris. I missed you.” – PJ
Indeed, for the occasion, CHANYEON, PJ and JISEOK prepared a cover of ATEEZ’s popular track “Bad”, showcasing their dancing skills. Speaking of dance talent, BIG OCEAN’s youngest member, JISEOK, prepared a captivating performance that brought out his charms. The solo performances then continued with the group’s eldest member. CHANYEON took center stage in turn, showcasing his rapping abilities through a touching performance. Fans then reunited with PJ and JISEOK as part of their sub-unit JJ for a performance of “Bucket hat”. Driven by hip-hop sounds, the duo brought a fresh dynamic to the concert, allowing PJ and JISEOK to explore a musical style different from BIG OCEAN’s usual sound.
Back together on stage, the three members performed “Make it up to you” in France for the first time. The track was released following the cancellation of BIG OCEAN’s previous European tour. Through this song, BIG OCEAN wanted to send a message to PADO, offering comfort and expressing its gratitude for their patience. Alternating between Korean, English, French, German and Polish, the song took on a particularly meaningful dimension, reflecting the different fan nationalites the group had hoped to meet during that tour. It was a performance that particularly moved us, not only because of the emotion it conveyed but also because of the closeness between the members and their fans throughout this touching song.
The group then shifted to a different atmosphere, performing several tracks from its first album, including “Flow”, “Glow” and “Slow”, which the fans sang along to. The spotlight then turned to PJ, who unveiled his solo performance of “Sink”. For this performance, two fans had the chance to join the artist on stage and play the role of his “exes” for this song. An unexpected scenario that made the audience laugh before the performance began.
As the evening drew to a close, the trio decided to reveal a more charming side of itself with the first performance in France of its latest track, “Love sign”, before JISEOK introduced the group’s new slogan: “BIG OCEAN Sexy Hands”. The group continued in this atmosphere with “Underwater,” “Attention” and “End of time”, bringing this part of the concert to a close.
However, the members did not seem ready to say goodbye to the Parisian audience just yet. For the encore, PJ, CHANYEON and JISEOK returned to the stage dressed as angels to perform “Rea-dy set go”. Their appearance brought a lovely surprise for PADO, as the three artists also took the opportunity to hand out candies to the audience, extending these moments of closeness with their fans. Finally, the trio took the time to warmly thank the entire team accompanying them on stage, as well as PADO for its unwavering support and loyalty.
To conclude, what we will remember most from this concert is the infectious energy of the Parisian audience and the close bond between BIG OCEAN and PADO. With a variety of performances, solo stages highlighting the different sides of PJ, CHANYEON and JISEOK, and heartfelt moments shared with fans, the evening showcased the trio’s artistic versatility as well as its unique approach to music through the integration of sign languages. Beyond the performances themselves, this third Parisian reunion highlighted the group’s strong connection with its European audience, following a long-awaited tour that had initially been cancelled. One thing is certain: BIG OCEAN still has plenty to share with PADO, and this Paris reunion is just another step in an ongoing journey.
Finally, BIG OCEAN will reunite with PADO in Seoul, South Korea, for a busking event at Sinchon U-PLEX Square on November 13, 2026, at 8 PM KST.
