8TURN
Leaving the 8TURN concert feels like a “Heartache”.

After its first concert in September 2025 at Le Bataclan, 8TURN (JAEYUN, MYUNGHO, MINHO, YUNGYU, HAEMIN, KYUNGMIN, YOONSUNG and SEUNGHEON) returned to the French capital as part of its “8TURN TRACE” tour. Invited by KOOKY, promoter of the show, KSTATION TV had the honor of attending the group’s return to Paris, which took place at La Cigale on September 25.
From the very first minutes, TURNING (fandom name) showed that they were ready to welcome the group with all the energy they could give. The group took the stage with “Bruise”, immediately setting the tone for an electric concert. “Ru-pum pum”, “Walk it out” and “Tic tac” continued in the same vein, quickly raising the energy in the venue.
After such an energetic opening, “Wonder” offered a slight change of pace. JAEYUN took the stage for a solo performance leading into “8pm”, giving him an opportunity to showcase his individual talent before reuniting with the rest of the group.

The atmosphere then became softer and more joyful with “Like a friend” and “Sketch”. These two performances brought a different color to the concert and allowed the members to embrace this lighter atmosphere without ever losing the energy that had filled the venue from the very beginning.
“Thank you guys for your electric energy.” — JAEYUN
Alongside the solo interludes, 8TURN had prepared a few surprises for their fans. The first was a sub-unit made up of MYUNGHO, MINHO and KYUNGMIN, called YKK. The three members took the stage with “Fashion” by CORTIS, delivering a particularly engaging performance that highlighted their skills as rappers. The sub-unit fully made the song their own, offering a moment that stood apart from the performances that came before.
Then came the second sub-unit, Five Guys, made up of JAEYUN, YUNGYU, HAEMIN, YOONSUNG and SEUNGHEON. With “Bang bang bang” by BIGBANG, the venue immediately caught fire. From the very first notes, TURNING recognized the song, and cheers echoed throughout La Cigale. The five members delivered a performance that truly set the room on fire and once again showcased the incredible energy of the Parisian audience.
But that was not the only surprise. After this performance, 8TURN took some time to share a lighter moment with the fans through a small game. The members drew one of their own and then spun a wheel to determine the challenge they would have to complete. KYUNGMIN and HYUNGYUN were chosen for the evening and took on a dance challenge, notably to YENA’s latest song, “Catch catch”. These few minutes of interaction gave the group an opportunity to be more spontaneous and led to several amused reactions from the audience.
Finally, the group’s third surprise was a performance of “Bouncy” by ATEEZ, a cover stage selected by fans through a vote held on Kooky, with presale ticket holders confirming the show in the European tour cities. While the track is already known for its energy, 8TURN managed to make it its own and give it its own color. The cover was particularly well executed and once again demonstrated the group’s ability to adapt a song to its own style while preserving what makes it so effective on stage.
“Thank you all for coming tonight.” — HAEMIN
After this latest burst of energy, the concert took a more emotional turn with “Heartache”. The ballad allowed the members to slow things down and give their voices more room to shine. Then came “Close to me”, a song specially prepared for this tour and written for the fans. The performance particularly moved us, especially because of the emotion the members conveyed through their voices. In this more intimate moment, you could truly feel how much love 8TURN has for TURNING, as if the song had become a direct exchange between the group and its audience.

This sense of closeness could be felt several times throughout the concert. The fans did not hesitate to accompany the songs with French fan chants, while also stomping their feet to support the members. These reactions seemed to particularly touch the group and once again showed just how strong the connection between the stage and the audience was throughout the evening.
The concert gradually picked up again with “Besame”, before giving way to a solo performance by YUNGYU. Another opportunity for the member to showcase his own universe and stage presence before rejoining the group for “Electric heart”. The song took on an even more special dimension as the TURNING sang along with 8TURN. The stage and the audience seemed to become one, giving the song an even stronger resonance.
The evening then continued with “Leggo”, before making room for a contemporary dance solo by MYUNGHO. Once again, the moment highlighted the members’ individual talents and offered another side of the show. Then came “Stagefright”, which seemed to mark the final song of the evening. The last notes echoed through La Cigale as the members began to wave goodbye to the audience, making it seem as though the concert had truly reached its end.

But with the TURNING cheering them on, 8TURN was not quite ready to leave the stage. The group returned for one final encore with “Excel” and “Nom”, offering one last connection with the Parisian audience. The members made the most of these final moments to share their energy with the fans one last time before thanking them for their unwavering support.
“You know, I saw the Eiffel Tower yesterday, but tonight, your eyes were even brighter. I will keep this moment in my memories for a long time. I will come back next week.” — KYUNGMIN
“The fact that so many fans come to see us from the other side of the world is crazy. Even though this is already our second time in Paris, everything still feels new and charming. I want to come back to Paris until I feel at home, so we’ll see each other often.” In French: “I love you.” — YOONSUNG
“For me, when people ask which country left the biggest impression on me during the last tour, I say Paris. And if someone asks me what the most memorable day of 2026 was, I would say today. Of course, I loved everything I did here, but what I loved the most was you. When I see your eyes, I know that I am someone who is deeply loved. Thank you for all the love and all the encouragement you give me. Surely thanks to that, tonight will be the happiest night of 2026. I promise I will come back to Paris and give you even more.” — SEUNGHEON
“Thanks to you, I was so happy tonight. I saw many beautiful things, but nothing is more beautiful than you. I feel it every time I am on stage, but you are the reason why I love concerts. Thank you for being my source of motivation. So we will come back with even better performances. I hope you will wait for us.” In French: “I love you. (je vous aime)” — MYUNGHO
“The concert in Paris is already over and I’m so sad. I wanted to be a more romantic person while walking through Paris, but I think I’m still far from that. But I’m so happy that I got to spend an evening with such romantic TURNING.” In French: “I love you.(je t’aime)” — YUNGYU
“Thank you for this concert. Tonight was better than ever. I love you so much and we’ll see each other again soon. Until then, take care of yourselves.” In French: “I love you. (je vous aime)” — JAEYUN
“I was impressed by you throughout the entire concert. We’re now halfway through the tour and I’m really sad. I want to start everything all over again from Paris. But you need sadness to be happy to come back. So tomorrow, I’ll wake up with lots of energy to go cycling with a baguette. So come back with lots of energy. ” In French: “I love you, Paris. (je t’aime Paris)” — MINHO
“Paris. Tonight was also a night when I fell in love. I had so much fun in Paris, but you are what makes me have the most fun. We came to Paris for the love you give us, but I received so much more. I think my words are romantic because we are in my city of love. Thank you for your endless love and energy. I had a new dream tonight: to hold a concert in an even bigger venue in Paris. Will you stay with us until that moment?” — HAEMIN

To conclude, we will remember this concert for the infectious energy of both TURNING and the members of 8TURN, who managed to create a genuine connection throughout the entire evening. Between powerful performances, moments of interaction and more emotional passages, the group delivered a rich and varied concert that will remain a beautiful memory of its return to Paris, leaving us with only one wish: to see them again as soon as possible.
Finally, 8TURN will now continue its World tour in New York, United State, with its next stop scheduled at Racket NYC on October 20.
