BIGBANG at the Stade de France was “Fantastic baby“!
As 2026 marks the twentieth anniversary of the legendary group BIGBANG, VIPs (fandom name) finally saw the full lineup perform live during the European leg of the “BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS >“.
This comeback was announced exactly one year earlier during G-DRAGON’s concert at the Paris La Défense Arena. With just two European dates, in Paris and London, BIGBANG delivered a spectacular evening beneath a sky of yellow stars. Invited by AEG France, KSTATION TV had the honor of attending BIGBANG’s first European show, held at the Stade de France on September 19th.
The members of BIGBANG (G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG) kicked off the concert with the famous track “Fantastic baby,” immediately showcasing the group’s signature charm and energy. From the first note, it is impossible not to feel the significance of the moment: after years of waiting, BIGBANG is finally standing before the Parisian audience.
With stage production worthy of a stadium tour, the group instantly captivates an audience that is already won over. Backed by a live band, BIGBANG’s iconic tracks come to life, enhanced by striking lighting and camera effects.
Designed to pay tribute to twenty years spent alongside its fans, the concert continues with “Hands up” and “Tonight“, songs that the crowd sings along to from start to finish. The performances offer a journey through time, featuring tracks like “If you” and “Haru haru“. Hearing these songs resonate in a stadium nearly twenty years after the group’s debut feels deeply symbolic; each track seems to transport the VIPs back to a different era of their shared history with BIGBANG.

That evening, the Stade de France turned into a genuine celebration shared by the fans and the members; during performances like “Loser“, the artists ventured down into the standing area to get closer to the crowd, creating unique new moments. Moreover, this event marked the members’ first concert in Paris as BIGBANG, an emotionally charged night for G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG, as well as for the VIPs who had traveled in large numbers from France and across the globe.
The evening also offered the members a chance to showcase their own unique styles. While this marked G-DRAGON’s third concert in the fashion capital, it was the French stage debut for both TAEYANG and DAESUNG.
DAESUNG kicked things off, bringing his signature Trot style to the forefront. With his powerful voice, the BIGBANG singer performed “Universe” and “Wings” before transforming the Stade de France into a Trot stage with “Hando-chogua” and “Look at me, gwisun“. DAESUNG even had fun interacting with the fans by attempting to sing “Hando-chogua” in French, creating a unique moment of connection.
Next, it was TAEYANG’s turn to take the stage with his hip-hop style. Amidst a moodier atmosphere, the group’s rapper performed “Bad“, “Ringa linga“, and the title track from his latest album, “Live fast die slow“, during which he moved closer to the audience.
Finally, BIGBANG’s leader wrapped up the solo segment by showcasing the concept of his latest album, “ÜBERMENSCH“; he performed “Power“, “Crayon“, and “Crooked” in quick succession, set against a visually striking stage design created by G-DRAGON himself.

It was with the legendary “Bang bang bang” that BIGBANG made its grand return to the stage for the final segment. It was a performance that left a lasting impression, showcasing the members’ immense energy as they made the entire stadium pulse just as they had in the early days. Even as the evening drew to a close, the group kept the party going with VIPs to the tunes of “Stupid liar” and “Sober“, before performing their latest track, “Biig“, long-awaited by fans, and a remix of G-DRAGON’s “Home sweet home” to wrap up the electric night.
Yet, the members weren’t ready to say goodbye to their fans just yet. With an encore featuring iconic hits like “Last farewell” and “Still life“, they concluded the evening by thanking not only the staff and the team accompanying them on stage but also the VIPs for their unwavering support over the past twenty years.
“I always say thank you because I am truly grateful to have been able to do this for twenty years. You are a huge part of this journey; thank you. For me, the most important thing is to keep singing for you and being there for you. So, thank you. Every time I perform, my priority is to make you happy, so I hope I’ve succeeded. “I don’t know how to describe what I’m feeling, but celebrating our 20th anniversary is a miracle to me. I want to give back all the love you give me, and it’s going to take some time to fully return it. Without you, this anniversary wouldn’t be happening. We are here thanks to you. Without you, we wouldn’t have lasted twenty years. Thank you so much, Paris. Thanks to you, we’re able to play in a stadium like this in Paris, so thank you very much. We love you.” – TAEYANG
“I am so happy to be here today because we can celebrate our 20th anniversary all together. A year ago, I was here in Paris for my solo concert, and now I’m here as BIGBANG. Tonight is very special to me; I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, and I hope I can recreate days like this. Not for myself, but for you. This is the biggest tour we’ve ever had. It’s incredible that we’re all here together, so I’m so excited about what’s coming next. This is just the beginning. Thank you to all the VIPs in Paris. To conclude, the evening was defined by the energy of the fans and the members, who were delighted to reunite in the French capital for a blazing performance. The concert’s production design was worthy of a stadium tour, clearly reflecting the members’ own creative input. Throughout the night, BIGBANG took us on a journey spanning its twenty-year career, reaffirming its status as K-pop icons. One thing is certain: BIGBANG is far from finished; as G-DRAGON noted, these twenty years were just the beginning.
Finally, BIGBANG will continue its world tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, UK, on September 28.
