KISS OF LIFE is beginning a new transformation with the release of its latest album.

The group’s fourth mini-album, titled “224″, intuitively expresses the concept of “Today, Tomorrow, Forever” by tracing the journey of an individual from oppression to liberation over time.
This album shines a light on the numbed daily life of modern individuals caught in routine. While it may seem to depict a life governed by rules and a set rhythm, it also delves into an inner journey, prompting questions like: “Who am I?” and “How should I live?” The core message of the album is that the “true and eternal self” cannot be found through others or external influences, but must be discovered and claimed by oneself. The album includes seven tracks, with the title song being “Lips Hips Kiss.”
“Lips Hips Kiss” is a hip-hop R&B track reminiscent of the early 2000s. It captures the emotions that arise when two people become infatuated with each other. With its refined melody, sensual lyrics, and a distinctly feminine vibe, the song captivates without going over the top, maintaining interest with a smooth, engaging structure.
Other tracks on the album include:
-
“Tell me”, which conveys conflicting emotions between wanting to leave a fake relationship and feeling a lingering attraction;
-
“k bye”, with a cool and chic vibe;
-
“Painting”, filled with the soft excitement of a summer day;
-
“Slide”, with a bright and catchy melody;
-
“Heart of gold”, reviving the essence of 2000s R&B;
-
“Think twice”, which gently reflects on the regrets of a relationship that has changed.
The members’ active involvement in the album’s production is especially noteworthy. NATTY participated in writing “Tell me” and “Painting,” adding her own personal and heartfelt touch. JULIE contributed to “Heart of gold,” enhancing its hopeful message.
Since its debut, KISS OF LIFE has forged its own path with strong concepts and a diverse musical palette. With “224″, the group marks a new chapter in its journey. Staying true to the keyword “freedom” since their first album, the members continue to explore their artistry, asserting a unique identity that defies categorization.
KISS OF LIFE’s new album “224″ is available today (June 9) at 6 PM KST on all major online music platforms.
