YOUNGJAE of GOT7, who continues to receive love from K-POP fans all over the world, has announced the release of his new single “도망치는 건 부끄럽지만 (It’s Not Shameful to Run Away)”, marking his first release in about a year.
An artist under Andbut Company, YOUNGJAE revealed a teaser poster featuring the title and release date of the digital single “도망치는 건 부끄럽지만” on his official social media channels on June 27, officially kicking off the countdown to his comeback.
The new song, “도망치는 건 부끄럽지만”, is an alternative hip-hop track that blends emotional piano, breakbeats, and intense electric guitar. With its added rock elements, the track delivers a deeper, more powerful energy.
In particular, the lyrics, conveying the comforting message “It’s okay to run away (도망쳐도 괜찮다)”, paired with an emotionally stirring melody, are expected to offer heartfelt solace to listeners who may be feeling lost or uncertain.
The song was also previewed during GOT7’s concert in Thailand, where it was met with strong empathy and enthusiastic support from fans.
Following the release of the poster and title, YOUNGJAE plans to gradually unveil content related to “도망치는 건 부끄럽지만” starting next Monday via his official social media channels, further building excitement for his comeback.
