Singer-songwriter SUNWOOJUNGA is making her return on July 14 with a brand-new record.
Her new EP, titled “찬란 (chan rahn)”, will be released on July 14, kicking off a series of diverse promotional activities that highlight a deepened emotional resonance.
“찬란 (chan rahn)” is SUNWOOJUNGA’s first release since joining the CAM label. This project delicately portrays sincere and profound aspects of life, built on her signature jazz- and soul-infused musical style. It fully showcases the artist’s emotional depth and unique sensitivity.
Ahead of the release, SUNWOOJUNGA is launching a creative collaboration with the unmanned flower shop tub.. Taking place from July 3 to 6 at tub.’s Hongdae and Dosan branches, this campaign goes beyond traditional promotions, offering an immersive experience combining music, space, and objects. Visitors will be able to explore the meaning of the album through “Chan Rahn edition flowers”, in-store posters, and postcards. They will also get an exclusive chance to listen to tracks from the EP before its official release.
Especially notable at the Hongdae store is the display of the armor worn by SUNWOOJUNGA during the album’s photoshoot, exhibited alongside flowers. This visual presentation adds a powerful dimension to the EP’s world, symbolizing the album’s core theme: expressing emotion through the lens of flowers.
A pre-release listening event with fans is also planned, offering an intimate moment of connection with the artist.
On July 2, a lyric spoiler video for the track “lovemyself” was released, further building anticipation for the EP. The glimpses of lyrics hint at the internal stories and emotional layers that the album aims to convey, sparking listeners’ curiosity.
