On July 2, TVXQ captured attention on Fuji TV’s “2025 FNS Music Festival Summer,” where they covered the hit song “接吻” (Kiss) by Original Love, a long-loved city-pop artist.
TVXQ preserved the original’s romantic and dreamy vibe while delivering an emotional, cross-generational performance with the smooth vocals of YUNHO and CHANGMIN and their subtle harmony, leaving a deep emotional impact.
Additionally, TVXQ plans to release a new single on July 20 at midnight KST, a cover of another Original Love track titled “月の裏で会いましょう” (Let’s Meet on the Other Side of the Moon). This single will be a special gift marking a new chapter in their 20-year career in Japan.
Following a nationwide live tour across Japan this year, TVXQ continues diverse activities, from TV appearances to new music releases, promising a busy second half of the year. YUNHO will star as “Beolgu” in the Disney+ original series “Low life,” premiering July 16, while CHANGMIN plans to start his first solo tour in Japan in September.
Finally, TVXQ will participate in “SMTOWN LIVE 2025” held August 9–10 at Tokyo Dome.
