LEE MINHYUK (HUTA), member of the group BTOB, is making his long-awaited return as a solo artist after three years.

On July 4 at midnight KST, BTOB Company, the group’s agency, revealed a teaser image for LEE MINHYUK’s new mini album “HOOK” via official social media channels, officially announcing his comeback.
The teaser image features a punching bag hanging against a red wall in the dark, engraved with LEE MINHYUK’s solo stage name, HUTA, instantly drawing attention.
Phrases like “NO GLOVES NO MERCY” and “JUST RHYTHM” reflect HUTA’s determination to fight with rhythm and music. The teaser’s intense mood has amplified anticipation among global fans for the new album.
LEE MINHYUK’s last solo release was three years ago with his second studio album “BOOM” in 2022. The passionate reactions from fans around the world show just how eagerly his return has been awaited.
Back in 2019, with his first solo album “HUTAZONE”, LEE MINHYUK (HUTA) proved himself to be a well-rounded artist—excelling in visuals, rap, vocals, performance, and production. His second album “BOOM” showcased an even wider musical range, cementing his reputation as a versatile performer.
Expectations are high for his new EP “HOOK”, which promises to bring a fresh musical direction and captivating performances. “HOOK” will be released on July 21 at 6 PM KST on all major streaming platforms.
Additionally, LEE MINHYUK (HUTA) will be performing at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2025 on July 5, taking the stage at the outdoor KINTEX Global Stage in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, delivering a cool and refreshing performance to beat the summer heat.
