A post exposing the behavior of a contestant “A” on Mnet’s upcoming boy survival show “Boys 2 Planet“ has sparked controversy.

Recently, a message was posted on social media exposing the character of “A,” a contestant on Mnet’s “Boys 2 Planet”. The author of the post claims that “A,” a former trainee at “B Entertainment,” received favoritism from high-ranking employees within the company, which he used to ignore or treat certain staff members with disdain or rudeness. It is also alleged that “A” skipped dance lessons with the head of the rookie development team and the general manager to go drinking or travel to Japan, with rumors of misappropriation of company funds circulating during that time.
The author explained:
“The nickname given to ‘A’ by the trainees was ‘the king of B Entertainment.’”
They added, “‘A’ was aware of this favoritism, exploited it to have a comfortable work life, and furthermore ignored some employees or even treated them rudely as if they were beneath him.” Regarding this, Ilgan Sports contacted Mnet that day, but no specific statement was given.
“Boys Planet” is a male group survival audition program that debuted the group ZEROBASEONE in its first season broadcast in 2023.
“Boys 2 Planet” will premiere on the 17th at 9:20 PM KST on Boys 2 Planet K and on the 18th at 9:20 PM KST on Boys 2 Planet C.
