The soundtrack of “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” continues to enjoy major success on Billboard.

On July 28 (local time), the American music media outlet Billboard announced that “Golden,” a song from the Netflix animated film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” soundtrack, reached No. 2 on the main singles chart, the Hot 100.
This marks a climb of two spots from the previous week, achieving its highest ranking yet. Having initially debuted at No. 81, “Golden” has steadily risen on the charts, drawing attention: will the song reach the top spot?
“Golden” also claimed No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. Two weeks ago, it held the top position on both charts before briefly being dethroned last week by BLACKPINK’s new song “Jump (뛰어),” which it has now surpassed again.
For reference, “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” is a globally popular action-fantasy animated film. It tells the story of a fictional K-pop girl group, HUNTR/X (consisting of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey), who lead double lives as secret heroines protecting the world behind their dazzling stage performances.
