BOYNEXTDOOR is set to take the stage at Lollapalooza, the largest music festival in the United States.
The group will perform at Lollapalooza Chicago, held from July 31 to August 3 (local time) in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois.
The six members will perform on the final day of the festival, August 3, starting at 2:15 PM (local time) for a one-hour set. Their performance will be live-streamed globally on Weverse and on BOYNEXTDOOR‘s official YouTube channel. For fans in Korea, the show will air at 4:15 AM KST on August 4. The day before, at 11:30 AM, the group will host an after-show event to connect with fans, known as ONEDOOR, which sold out quickly, reflecting their growing global popularity.
Ahead of their appearance at Lollapalooza, the members of BOYNEXTDOOR shared their thoughts and excitement through their agency, KOZ Entertainment.
Q. How do you feel about performing at Lollapalooza for the first time?
SUNGHO: It feels like a dream come true. I’m so happy to be standing on a stage I’ve always envisioned. I’ll give it my all and have fun without any regrets.
RIWOO: Even if people don’t know who we are, the beauty of a festival is how music brings everyone together. It’s an honor to perform at such a legendary event like Lollapalooza. We’re going to create a stage everyone can enjoy together.
JAEHYUN: Watching Lollapalooza in Chicago was on my bucket list. The fact that I now get to stand on that stage myself is surreal. I have so much I want to show.
TAESAN: Lollapalooza has been a dream of mine since my trainee days. So many artists I admire have performed there, and now I want to leave a lasting impression, too.
LEEHAN: I’m ready to bring a passionate performance that can match the heat of Chicago. We’ve prepared this with excitement, so please don’t miss it.
WOONHAK: We’re going to show the world who BOYNEXTDOOR really is. Even if we speak different languages, music has the power to connect us. Feel that connection through our performance.
Q. What can fans expect from your Lollapalooza stage?
BOYNEXTDOOR: “We’ve prepared a performance that blends live band, audience interaction, and BOYNEXTDOOR’s energy. We also rearranged some of our tracks to better suit the open-air festival vibe. Expect to see each of us doing what we do best. We’re excited to deliver a stage that’s fun, energetic, and full of good vibes!”
BOYNEXTDOOR recently wrapped up its first solo tour, “BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1,” solidifying its reputation as rising performance stars. With 23 shows across 13 cities, the group was praised for their powerful stage presence. Now, with that experience behind them, anticipation is high for a standout performance at Lollapalooza.
