TXT’s TAEHYUN showcases his delicate emotional sensitivity in his latest solo music video.

At midnight KST on August 1, the MV for “Bird of night,” TAEHYUN’s solo track and one of the songs from TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s 4th studio album, “The Name Chapter: TOGETHER“, was released via HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel. The R&B-style track stands out with its lyrical intro, minimalist rhythm, and synth-based sound. TAEHYUN contributed to both the lyrics and composition, delivering a poignant message: “Even sleepless, anxiety-filled nights are necessary steps on the journey toward tomorrow.”
The music video reflects this emotional atmosphere. TAEHYUN is shown alone at night, while the world around him sleeps. His melancholic gaze and weary expression convey the depth of his inner anxiety.
The subtle visual storytelling enhances the song’s message. Light and shadow play across the space, symbolizing the character’s emotional fluctuations. Stacked cassette tapes labeled with names fill the room, representing burdens and fears that weigh him down. One unnamed cassette hints that, over time, confusion and fear may fade.
Speaking through BigHit Music, TAEHYUN said:
“To match the vibe of the song, I wanted to show a raw, stripped-down version of myself. It’s not a polished or glamorous look, but it’s a new side of me that I really like. The direction and color grading of the MV perfectly align with the song’s emotions.”
Meanwhile, TXT is earning praise and recognition for “The Name Chapter: TOGETHER”, which has topped three major weekly charts in Korea and internationally. In Japan, the album debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s weekly combined albums chart (August 4 edition, tracking July 21–27), marking TXT’s best performance on the chart to date. They also topped the Weekly Album Ranking and Western Music Album Ranking.
On Billboard Japan, TXT ranked No. 1 in Top Album Sales, Hot Albums, and even scored the top spot on the Hot Shot Song chart with their title track “Beautiful strangers.”
In Korea’s Circle Chart (for the week of July 20–26), the group achieved No. 1 in both album and physical album retail categories, while the title track also ranked first in downloads.
