CATCH THE YOUNG lights up the Pentaport Festival for the second year in a row.

The young dreamer rock band CATCH THE YOUNG (Sani, Jungmo, Kihoon, Namhyun, and Junyong) once again electrified the stage at the 2025 Pentaport Rock Festival, making summer listeners’ hearts race.
On August 1, the group took the stage at the Pentaport Rock Festival held at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon.
On the opening day of the festival, CATCH THE YOUNG delivered a vibrant performance full of youthful energy and solid musical skill, brilliantly asserting their presence as a complete rock band. The show kicked off with their new track “Ideal type,” blending retro rock riffs and dynamic synthesizers. From the first notes, they energized the crowd, sparking applause and sing-alongs.
Following songs like “My own way” and “Talking to myself” showcased a range of emotions through contrasting sounds, highlighting the group’s unique musical identity. The tracks “Dream it” and “The legend” shone with their narrative sound structure and tight band cohesion, capturing both the uncertainties and passions of youth. These highlights turned the performance into an immersive experience far beyond a typical concert.
Their cover of Queen’s classic “Don’t stop me now” reached a peak of intensity, driven by CATCH THE YOUNG’s signature humor and energy. To close the show, the audience joined in a powerful chorus of “YOUTH!!!,” delivering an explosive finale.

By delivering an honest and energetic performance without over-the-top staging, CATCH THE YOUNG once again proved they are a live band through and through, captivating the audience with the strength of its music and message alone. Their raw stage presence shone fully at this major event.
Notably, their recent street performance in Sinchon, which faced a sudden sound outage mid-song, turned into an unforgettable moment thanks to the audience’s sing-alongs. That experience seems to have boosted their confidence and stage presence, evident in their natural ease on the Pentaport stage.
CATCH THE YOUNG continues its rise with a busy schedule of university festivals, solo concerts, and street performances. They are slated to appear this month at the Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival (JUMF), followed by the Sound Planet Festival in September, further cementing and enriching their identity as a standout youth band.
