The August 2nd episode of KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Songs” will feature a special titled “Rock Festival in Ulsan.” Major names in South Korean rock such as Kim Chang-wan Band, Jeon In-kwon Band, Seo Moon-tak, Cherry Filter, FTISLAND, Jannabi, and Touched will deliver explosive live performances.
On that day, LEE HONG GI made his return with FTISLAND, about a month after their appearance in the “King of Kings” special. Host Kim Jun-hyun revealed, “Actually, LEE HONG GI is dealing with some vocal cord inflammation, but he insisted on being here,” expressing his appreciation. LEE HONG GI passionately responded, “Even if my vocal cords break, I’m going to have the time of my life!”, showing his sincere affection for this special edition.

LEE HONG GI also shared his long-standing love for rock music:
“Ever since I was a kid, I listened to a lot of rock. I even used to buy cassette tapes that had to include Cherry Filter tracks.”
Upon hearing this, Cherry Filter gave him a thumbs-up. LEE HONG GI added, “I even used to attend their live music show recordings,” expressing his deep respect. Cherry Filter jokingly replied, “That’s why he has such a great personality,” sparking laughter in the studio.
Finally, FTISLAND prepared a highly anticipated tribute performance of “That’s my world” (그것만이 내 세상) in front of its original singer, Jeon In Kwon himself. As a bonus, a surprise encore performance by the band is also planned, further raising anticipation for this special “Immortal Songs – Rock Festival in Ulsan,” airing on August 2nd at 6:05 PM KST on KBS 2TV.
