KANG DANIEL has proven his growth as a performance artist and announced the second leg of his world tour.

KANG DANIEL successfully wrapped up his solo concert “ACT: NEW EPISODE” on August 9 and 10 at the Olympic Hall inside Seoul’s Olympic Park. This event served as an encore to the “ACT” tour that began last October, and marks the kickoff of a more upgraded second chapter ahead of the upcoming tours in the U.S. and South America.
KANG DANIEL’s dedication to the production was evident both in the scale and quality of the show. He performed a total of 28 songs nonstop for 160 minutes. The concert was essentially a spectacle of lights, with lighting, lasers, and a giant LED screen covering the stage.
The laser mapping projected onto the stage offered a higher-level production and a real sense of space. Additionally, 3D videos unfolding behind a transparent curtain combined with KANG DANIEL’s performance broke the boundary between reality and virtuality, providing a new level of immersion. KANG DANIEL even wielded his personal laser sword to create a luminous climax.
Many firsts took place. Every track from his new album “GLOW TO HAZE”, including “Love game,” his first composition since debut, was performed live for the first time. The songs “Mess” and the Korean version of the Japanese single “RE8EL” were also unveiled exclusively. The repertoire he has steadily built since his solo debut was specially rearranged for this concert. Once again, accompanied by a live band, he captivated the audience with a high-quality sound.
KANG DANIEL shared his thoughts, saying:
“Thanks to you, I’ve etched precious memories on a stage and in a venue I truly wanted. I won’t stop taking meaningful challenges, and ‘ACT’ will continue. I sincerely thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”
After this hot performance in Seoul, KANG DANIEL won’t stop. Starting in September, he embarks on a large-scale U.S. tour passing through 12 major cities including Washington and New York. Then, the tour will continue in South America, notably in Argentina and Brazil. This world tour completes his influence already demonstrated in previous stops across Asia and Europe.
