SEVENTEEN member JOSHUA has teamed up with American singer-songwriter Dylan Matthew.

According to his agency, Pledis Entertainment, JOSHUA released “Love is gone” (Acoustic) (with JOSHUA of SEVENTEEN & Dylan Matthew) today at 1 p.m. KST on global music platforms.
This song is a ballad that conveys the feelings of a narrator who has lost love. JOSHUA’s clear and distinctive voice, rich with emotional depth, blends seamlessly with Dylan Matthew’s calm vocals to leave a lasting impression.
On the 25th of last month, JOSHUA had already released a solo version of “Love is gone” (with JOSHUA of SEVENTEEN), which entered the Worldwide iTunes Song chart immediately. Praise quickly poured in online: “JOSHUA’s soft tone breathes new life into the song,” “A voice that offers comfort while expressing sadness in the sweetest way.”

Through his agency, JOSHUA shared, “Dylan Matthew’s and my voice blended together even better than I had imagined, and it surprised me. It’s a song that delivers a different energy from the solo version.” He added, “I’d love to collaborate with him again, whether on another song or a different project.” He also expressed his hope: “I wish this song could be a wonderful gift to anyone who needs comfort.”
The original “Love is gone” (Acoustic) is a track by American DJ duo SLANDER, released in November 2019. It grew in popularity online and continues to be loved to this day. On Spotify, it has surpassed 600 million cumulative streams, and the official music video on YouTube is close to reaching 300 million views.
JOSHUA, a member of SEVENTEEN’s vocal team, has worked with many international artists, thanks to his unique tone and strong vocal skills. He has featured on the track 17 (feat. Joshua and DK of SEVENTEEN) by renowned American singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$, and also took part in the revival album of the legendary boy band New Kids On The Block, further cementing his presence in the global music scene.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN, the group JOSHUA belongs to, will kick off their new international tour “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]” on September 13–14 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. Tickets sold out during the presale, demonstrating their massive drawing power. Following two shows on September 27–28 at Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong’s largest venue, the group will continue its tour in five U.S. cities in October, and then in Japan’s four major domes from November through December.
