Video production company 815 Video stated on Monday that talent agency Pocketdol Studio has failed to pay its outstanding fees, despite a court ruling.

According to 815 Video, Pocketdol Studio commissioned the production of the music video for the song “Pitter-Patter-Love,” performed by the studio’s boy group FANTASY BOYS in April 2024. The total value of the contract was 165 million won (approximately $118,900).
The production company reported that it received an initial payment of 71.5 million won, followed by an additional 15 million won, but the remaining 78.5 million won has yet to be paid.
815 Video filed a lawsuit in April 2025 to recover the payment, and the Seoul Western District Court ruled in its favor in July. However, Pocketdol Studio has not complied with the court’s decision or paid the remaining amount, according to 815 Video.
The company also claimed that Pocketdol Studio has been involved in similar disputes with other subcontractors in the past.
“We strongly urge Pocketdol Studio to promptly pay the outstanding amount in accordance with the court’s ruling,” 815 Video said in an official statement.
Originally founded in 1988 as Ground Media by producer Kim Kwang-soo, the agency went through several name changes—becoming Core Contents Media in 2008, MBK Entertainment in 2014, and finally Pocketdol Studio in 2017. Over the years, it has managed a number of prominent artists in the Korean music industry, including the duo Davichi, the girl group T-ara, and the singer Yoonsang.
