On August 24, JYP Entertainment released four new group concept photos for its upcoming studio album “The DECADE” on the group’s official accounts.
In the photos, SUNGJIN, YOUNG K, WONPIL, and DOWOON each showcase their charm with distinct black-and-white styling, embodying the idea that “classics are forever.” The black-and-white portraits, highlighting the solid chemistry among the four members, capture their deepened gazes, stirring excitement in viewers.
Nearly five years and eleven months after its third studio album “THE BOOK OF US: Entropy”, released in October 2019, DAY6 returns with a new record titled “The DECADE”. The album will feature ten tracks, including the title track “꿈의 버스” and “Inside out“, as well as “해야 뜨지 말아 줘”, “Disco day“, “My way“, “별들 앞에서”, “Take all my heart“, “날아라! 드림라이더”, “드디어 끝나갑니다“, and “우리의 계절”.
Before the release of this new album, the group will kick off their 10th-anniversary tour “The DECADE” with an opening concert on August 30–31 at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, celebrating the eve of their comeback. This performance, marking the very first solo appearance by a Korean rock band at the venue, sold out every seat, proving their overwhelming ticket power.
DAY6’s fourth full-length album “The DECADE” will be officially released on September 5 at 6 PM KST.
