BTS - V
The very first magazine cover featuring BTS’s V since his discharge from military service has sold out both in South Korea and internationally, once again proving his global popularity.

The September issue of W Korea, featuring V on the cover, sparked an explosive reaction from fans around the world as soon as it was released.
Shot just one month after his discharge, the photoshoot showcases V’s flawless visuals, earning him praise as the “ultimate self-management king.”
On the 5th, W Korea posted a teaser video on its official social media accounts with the caption:
“A charming mismatched gaze, a beauty mark above the lips, a languid voice. Just his presence alone dominates the scene. Who is this mysterious figure? The cover star will be revealed tomorrow.”
The video immediately surpassed 20 million views, building anticipation.
As soon as pre-orders opened, all six individual cover versions, and the full set, sold out completely on Weverse. On Ktown4u, the magazine ranked No. 1 in pre-orders for two consecutive weeks. On REEPOP, a UK- and Europe-based K-pop platform, the magazine sold out within just ten days of the release announcement.
In Korea, online bookstores Kyobo, Aladin, and Yes24 saw all six top spots on their magazine bestseller charts taken by the various versions of the issue. In the daily bestsellers as well, V dominated the top eight positions.
The response in Japan was equally massive. On Rakuten, the magazine swept the top ten spots in the K-pop magazine/photo book category. On Qoo10 Japan, V’s magazine occupied 17 of the top 20 rankings. It also reached the No. 1 bestseller spot at Universal Music Japan, confirming the so-called “V Phenomenon.”

Meanwhile, V is set to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the LA Dodgers’ home game in Major League Baseball on August 25 (local time). The announcement of his appearance led to a fivefold increase in ticket sales within a day, and seats near home plate sold out within hours.
To celebrate this special moment, fans are organizing a global festivity, including giant banners, aerial displays, and socially impactful advertising campaigns.
