Singer JUNG DAEHYUN turned Hongdae into a scene of overflowing excitement with a street performance (busking) to celebrate the release of his new single “Haeng-ro” (Itinerary).
On August 30, JUNG DAEHYUN held a roughly one-hour street performance starting at 4 p.m. KST in front of Hongdae’s Sangsangmadang, accompanied by a live band. This surprise event, organized ahead of the official release of his new track “Haeng-ro” on September 2, drew several hundred fans from Korea and abroad, completely filling the area.
DAEHYUN opened the show with the heartfelt ballad “When you call”, immediately captivating the audience with his unique sensitivity and powerful, emotive voice. He then continued with “느낌있게” (Groovy), followed by “Gone” and “Stay”, songs that highlighted his emotional delivery and delicate vocal control, transforming the street into a true concert hall.
The highlight of the day was the very first live performance of his new single “Haeng-ro (행로)”. Despite being its debut stage, JUNG DAEHYUN immersed himself fully, showcasing explosive vocal power and outstanding stage presence. With its refreshing, open melody and hopeful message, “Haeng-ro” instantly shifted the atmosphere and won over the crowd, who responded with sing-alongs, applause, and cheers, turning the street into a festive celebration. Finally, with “대박사건” (Shocking Event) as the closing number, DAEHYUN unleashed boundless energy alongside the live band, sparking encore chants from the audience
Throughout the performance, JUNG DAEHYUN exchanged eye contact, waved, and shared moments of genuine connection with fans. This street concert highlighted his skills and ease as a solo artist, along with his deep affection for his audience, while building anticipation for the first official stage of “Haeng-ro.”
