The group XG reaffirmed their global influence by taking the stage as headliners on the opening day of “a-nation 2025″.

XG (Jurin, Chisa, Cocona, Hinata, Maya, Juria, Harvey) lit up the a-nation 2025 music festival, held on August 30, performing 13 songs over the course of about 50 minutes. During the concert, the group also surprised the audience by announcing the release of its very first studio album, scheduled for January, sparking an explosive reaction and once again proving their popularity.
As headliners of “a-nation 2025″, XG delivered a high-energy performance with “New dance”, a track with summer vibes, followed by “GRL GVNG”, which had topped the U.S. Billboard Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter chart. They then set the stage ablaze with “Hesonoo” + “X-Gene” and the fully rap-based track “Woke up.”
As the atmosphere reached its peak, Jurin told the audience: “Since we’re closing today, I hope this will be a special time for you, like traveling through space,” further heightening the excitement. XG went on to perform several fan favorites, including “IYKYK”, “Mascara”, and “Million places”, maintaining a strong connection with the crowd.
The group then impressed with a mixed piano-and-original version of “Is this love”, a song that spent 22 weeks on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. They also performed “Left right”, which entered the U.S. Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart, before closing with “Shooting star” accompanied by a dazzling fireworks display.
XG wrapped up the show by exchanging looks and gestures with fans, finishing under a standing ovation. Hinata shared her feelings:
“This is our very first stadium concert as XG. I’m so happy that we were able to perform in front of such a large audience.”
After the concert, a major announcement appeared on the big screens: the release of the group’s first studio album, set for January 23, 2026. Anticipation is already high for the concept and tracks that will make up this much-awaited album.

Ahead of its January comeback, XG will also hold the “XG 1st WORLD TOUR ‘The First HOWL’ EXHIBITION” from September 1 to 7. The exhibition will feature costumes worn during their world tour, as well as immersive photos and video content to recreate the live concert experience.
