SEVENTEEN’s new special sub-unit, S.COUPS X MINGYU, is building anticipation for their upcoming album with a wide range of promotional content.
On September 4 at 10 p.m., Pledis Entertainment, a label under HYBE Music, released the promotion schedule for S.COUPS X MINGYU’s first mini-album, “HYPE VIBES”, through SEVENTEEN’s official social media channels.
According to the schedule, S.COUPS X MINGYU will first unveil the official photos in the BUDDY and COMBI versions on September 8 and 9, followed by the tracklist on the 12th, a track sampler on the 16th, and a highlight medley on the 22nd. Two official music video teasers will drop on the 25th and 26th. Finally, the highly anticipated new album and the title track’s music video will be released on September 29 at 6 p.m.
The album title, “HYPE VIBES”, represents a passionate and free-spirited atmosphere where everyone can enjoy and connect together. The mindset of S.COUPS X MINGYU, living in the moment, following their own rhythm without fixed boundaries,permeates the album. Having already made their mark not only in music but also in fields like fashion and beauty, the duo is once again expected to showcase their unique presence through this project.
SEVENTEEN’s group activities are also ongoing. The group will kick off its world tour, “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]”, on September 13 and 14 at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. They will then perform on September 27 and 28 at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, followed by a North American tour in five cities in October, and a dome tour in Japan covering four major domes from November through December.
