SM Entertainment announced on September 8 that EXO’s clock is starting to tick once again.
An image posted around 1:26 AM that day on EXO’s official social media accounts showed a visual reminiscent of a total lunar eclipse in space, along with the text “DECEMBER 2025.”
The image also included the phrase, “WHEN WE BECOME TRUE ONE, A NEW WORLD AWAKENS.” This references EXO’s conceptual universe, which sparked a boom in Kpop lore and storytelling when the group debuted in 2012.
SM Entertainment stated, “EXO plans to resume group activities after SEHUN returns from his alternative military service,” adding that the group “will be engaging with fans through various channels.”
