The group TWS has confirmed its comeback for October 13. In the meantime, they surprised fans today (September 22) with the release of a pre-release track, officially kicking off the countdown to their return.
At midnight on the 22nd, TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) uploaded the teaser for the music video of “Head shoulders knees toes”, the pre-release track from its 4th mini album “PLAY HARD”, on HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel. The powerful teaser, signaling a new transformation for the group, immediately drew attention.
The teaser opens with a shot of SHINYU gazing at a congested city. The six members then boldly break through a line of stopped cars with dynamic performance, before joining a large group of dancers for a spectacular choreography. Their free and energetic movements fill the screen, heightening the sense of immersion.
A heavy hip-hop beat immediately catches the ear. Over the rhythm, TWS’s voices shout “Head shoulders knees and toes,” radiating raw, unrestrained energy. With barely ten seconds of sound, the teaser already makes a strong impression and raises anticipation for the track. Both the song and its music video will be released today, September 22, at 6 p.m. KST.
TWS’s 4th mini album, “PLAY HARD,” will be released on October 13, about six months after their 3rd mini album “TRY WITH US” came out in April. Back then, the group captivated the public with the track “마음 따라 뛰는 건 멋지지 않아?” (Isn’t running after your heart cool?), and in July, they successfully made its debut in Japan, expanding its international presence. With this new release, TWS aims to cement their rapidly rising popularity.
According to Pledis Entertainment, the group’s label under HYBE, pre-orders for the new album begin today (September 22) at 11 a.m. KST.
