The group BOYNEXTDOOR (Jaehyun, Sungho, Riwoo, Taesan, Leehan, Woonhak) has confirmed the release date of its upcoming album.
According to KOZ Entertainment, a Hybe sub-label, BOYNEXTDOOR will release its 5th mini-album, “THE ACTION”, on October 20.
This will be their first project in five months, following the release of their 4th mini-album, “NO GENRE”, last May, which sold over one million copies and confirmed their popularity. Last month, they also performed at the Lollapalooza Chicago festival, further strengthening their international presence.
To announce its comeback, the group released a teaser video on its YouTube channel, exciting fans worldwide. In the video, the six members portray a film crew dreaming of participating in a film festival held in Chicago. One detail stands out: the outfits worn in the teaser are the same as those they wore when leaving for Chicago to attend Lollapalooza.
The agency stated:
“The slogan on these outfits, TEAM THE ACTION, is directly linked to the title of the new album. We invite fans to look forward to upcoming promotions developing around this concept.”
