On September 23, YG Entertainment released the tracklist for “WE GO UP” on its official blog. The credits for the four songs, “We go up,” “Psycho,” “Supa dupa luv,” and “Wild”, were revealed for the first time.
All the writers and producers who had previously collaborated to shape BABYMONSTER’s musical universe came together. Among them are CHOICE37, DEE.P, P.K, Kang Wookjin, AiRPLAY, Diggy, LIL G, LP, Sonny, as well as international composers who worked on “BABYMONS7ER” and “DRIP”, promising exceptional synergy.
The released poster also gives a glimpse of the musical universe of “WE GO UP”. Objects such as the skyline, a phone booth, and a fire hydrant create a raw yet sophisticated atmosphere, while the grainy black-and-white aesthetic with neon accents enhances a mood that is both understated and striking, arousing curiosity about the group’s new concept.
BABYMONSTER’s 2nd mini-album, “WE GO UP”, will be released on October 10 at 1 PM KST. The title track, “We go up,” is an energetic hip-hop song expressing the ambition to rise higher and higher. The album will also include the powerful “Psycho,” the hip-hop ballad “Supa dupa luv,” and “Wild,” a dance-country track, offering a variety of genres sure to captivate music lovers.
