BABYMONSTER adds a third clip to reach 300 million views on YouTube in its career, ahead of its comeback scheduled for October 10.

According to YG Entertainment, the clip for the track “Drip”, from BABYMONSTER’s first studio album, surpassed 300 million views on YouTube on September 28 at around 2:58 a.m. KST. This comes approximately 331 days after its release on November 1 of last year at 1 p.m. KST.
From the moment it went live, the clip reached the top spot on the “most-viewed video in 24 hours” chart, stayed for 19 consecutive days on YouTube’s global daily chart, and hit 100 million views in just 21 days. On the music performance side, the track debuted at number 16 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and number 30 on the Billboard Global 200, marking the group’s best positions to date.
With this success, BABYMONSTER now has three videos with over 300 million views. The previous ones were “Sheesh”, from its first MINI-ALBUM, which set a speed record for a K-pop girl group debut, and the pre-debut clip “Batter up”, which also reached the same milestone.
Recently, BABYMONSTER became the fastest K-pop girl group (1 year and 5 months after debut) to reach 10 million subscribers on its official channel, cementing their status as the “next-generation YouTube queens”. Their content surpassing 100 million views now totals 11, for a cumulative total of over 5.6 billion views. This impressive momentum is generating strong anticipation for what’s next.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER will make its comeback on October 10 with its second MINI-ALBUM “WE GO UP”. It will include four new tracks: the energetic title track “We go up”, the punchy “Psycho”, the slower hip-hop-inspired “Supa dupa luv”, and the country-dance track “Wild”.
