The group NEWBEAT has finally revealed the official name of its fandom.
Today, October 1, at 10:01 KST, the group (Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, Kim Riwoo) announced on its social media that the fandom will be called “NEURO”, along with a logo and an identity video officially marking the fandom’s debut.
The name NEURO is an acronym for “Never Ending Utopia, Radiant One,” meaning “never-ending utopia, shining being.” It symbolizes that the fans are always a bright presence for NEWBEAT.
Additionally, NEURO represents a constant companion on the group’s musical journey, like a neural network connecting artists and fans. NEWBEAT builds a narrative where the group and its fans are closely linked through music and grow together.
NEWBEAT is a seven-member boy group that debuted last March with its first full album “RAW AND RAD”. From the beginning, the group attracted international attention through the Mnet Global Debut Show and the SBS Debut Fan Showcase, and they are now preparing for their first comeback.
