From President LEE JAE-MYUNG to singer G-DRAGON, and JANG WONYOUNG, numerous Korean personalities came together to promote the 2025 APEC Summit in GYEONGJU.

On October 2, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, through its APEC Summit preparation team, released a special promotional video titled “The World Comes to Korea” on its official social media channels. The video was directed by SHIN WOO SEOK, known for being part of Dolphiners Film.
The main official APEC ambassador, G-DRAGON, takes the lead role. Additionally, iconic Korean figures from various fields appear in cameos: director PARK CHAN WOOK (Decision to Leave), former international footballer PARK JISUNG, JANG WONYOUNG of IVE, chef AN SUNG JAE, and DJ PEGGY GOO, among others.

The video, showcasing SHIN WOO SEOK’s unique and witty style, opens in a hanok-style Korean restaurant. G-DRAGON, dressed as a pilot, meets pilots from APEC member countries. As he sits down and says, “Welcome to APEC”, JANG WONYOUNG, wearing a hanbok, exclaims, “Move the 2025 car! 2025!”
G-DRAGON then goes outside to move the airplane, and President LEE JAE-MYUNG makes a surprise appearance as a plane guidance officer. His playful acting becomes one of the highlights of the video.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that this scene “represents South Korea returning to the international community with order and stability after a period of chaos.”
President LEE JAE MYUNG shared photos from the shoot on social media, joking, “Now I am the real parking manager,” and asked director SHIN WOO SEOK, “Director, is this right?” to which SHIN WOO SEOK replied, “Honestly, I’m not really sure,” bringing laughter to everyone.
It is reported that all participants in this special APEC promotional video volunteered without any payment.
