NEWBEAT will participate in the show “Idol Star Athletics Championships – Chuseok Special 2025” (ISAC).
NEWBEAT (Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Riwoo) will appear on the program broadcast on MBC on October 6 at 5:10 PM KST.
This will be NEWBEAT‘s first participation in ISAC since their debut. The group will compete in the 60-meter sprint, showing their energy and fighting spirit, promising viewers a refreshing and dynamic performance.
Fans are especially curious to see if NEWBEAT, already known for its endurance, as shown during a previous video mission where they walked 100 km, will reveal their hidden athletic skills on this occasion.
Debuting last March with its first full-length album “RAW AND RAD”, NEWBEAT is a seven-member rookie boy group. Before their official debut, they had already performed a busking tour in 14 cities, including stops in the United States and Mexico, building stage experience and an international fanbase.
Since their debut, they have performed on major stages such as “2025 LOVESOME FESTIVAL”, KCON LA 2025, “2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS”, and ATA FESTIVAL 2025, demonstrating a strong stage presence and impressive performances despite being rookies. The group also maintains close communication with fans by posting dance videos and various content regularly.
