Singer LEE SU YEON of TOTALSET, known for its trot artists, won her second trophy on the show “IMMORTAL SONGS”.

On October 18, LEE SU YEON appeared in the Nam Jin special of “IMMORTAL SONGS” broadcast on KBS2. Having previously won with her cover of “내 이름 아시죠” by JANG MIN HO, which surpassed six million views on YouTube, she this time formed a duo with HWANG MIN HO.
To stop PARK MIN SOO’s streak of three consecutive wins, LEE SU YEON and HWANG MIN HO performed the famous song by NAM JIN, “파트너”. The two artists revealed that they added a dance break sequence to this dancing trot song, marking a bold attempt and expressing their strong desire to win.
On stage, LEE SU YEON and HWANG MIN HO captivated the audience with their impressive vocal power and stage presence. Their perfect synchronization was highlighted in a couple’s choreography and a dynamic group number with dancers. The retro-style dance break provided a festive moment for all generations, and the duo concluded the performance with a soaring vocal climax.
Regarding “파트너 (Partner)”, NAM JIN explained: “It’s the opening song of my 60th anniversary concert. A singer doesn’t exist without their fans, and I wanted to express my gratitude to them, who are the closest to me.”
By winning the first round trophy, LEE SU YEON confirmed for the second consecutive year that she not only has an adorable charm but also genuine vocal talent, solidifying her status as the “nation’s little girl” and a promising hope for the future of trot.
