Singer KANG YUCHAN officially begins his career as a solo artist.
On October 21 at 6 PM KST, KANG YUCHAN will release his first EP album “REBEL” on all online music platforms.
“REBEL” is an album conceived after deep reflection by KANG YUCHAN, redefining in his own way the concept of a “rebel popstar.” The album promises to create a unique musical universe, blending his experimental cross-genre style, bold initiatives, and affirmed identity.
The album includes five tracks: the title track “Close to you”, as well as “The call of the wild”, “Champagne poppin(샴페인 팝핀)”, “Body talk(바디 토크)”, and “Best for me(베스트 포 미)”. KANG YUCHAN participated in writing all lyrics and composing the tracks, showcasing his distinctive musical color.
The title track “Close to you” expresses, through a lyrical melody and KANG YUCHAN’s emotive voice, nostalgia and the desire to stay close despite distance. The song offers listeners deep empathy and comfort.
In parallel, KANG YUCHAN will start his first Asian tour “2025 KANG YUCHAN THE LIVE ASIA TOUR ‘REBEL’“, visiting Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, marking his rise as a global artist.
Recently, KANG YUCHAN signed an exclusive contract with the label WAY BETTER and released his first digital single “CHAMPAGNE POPPIN”, confirming his success as a solo artist. With this first album and the Asian tour, he is set to demonstrate the evolution of his musicality, attracting growing attention.
On October 25, KANG YUCHAN will open his Asian tour at SPACEBRICK in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to meet his fans and launch this new stage of his career.
