The group ONLYONEOF (Nine, Mill, Rie, Junji, Yoojung, KB (Kyubin)) has ended its exclusive contract with 8D ENTERTAINMENT and now stands at a new starting point.
According to a statement released on October 31, the group’s contract has expired, and all members are considering new directions. They are preparing to take on challenges in various fields such as solo music activities and acting.
Debuting in 2019, ONLYONEOF has built a unique identity within the K-pop scene, staying true to the meaning of its name: “the only one for someone.” Since its debut with the song “Savanna”, they have followed up with bold projects such as the “INSTINCT”, “UNDERGROUND IDOL”, and “SEOUL COLLECTION” series, setting themselves apart with sensory and experimental concepts.
The group developed an artistic universe often referred to as “wibersexual,” exploring emotions and narratives rarely touched upon by K-pop boy groups. They earned fans’ admiration through their direct involvement in songwriting and composition, establishing themselves as a truly self-produced group.
Last year, ONLYONEOF successfully completed their first world tour “OnlyOneOf 2024 World Tour dOpamine”, which spanned 33 cities across Asia, America, Europe, and Oceania, followed this year by a North American tour.
