The rookie 5-member group AM8IC will release its first mini-album “LUKOIE” on November 10 at 6 PM KST to mark its debut.
“LUKOIE” announces the first chapter of the dark fantasy group AM8IC and is based on the eponymous universe of “Lukoie”. The story follows five boys connected in a world of deceptive dreams created by the spider-god “Lukoie”, who embark on a journey toward a real and authentic world. This narrative arc is woven into the album’s structure, offering coherence where each song flows into the next to form a complete story.
The track “Link up” captures the boys’ first fateful connection, blending bossa nova guitar riffs, UK garage rhythms, and pop drum sounds, expressing the excitement of a first meeting and announcing AM8IC’s true musical journey.
The teaser for the “Link up” music video, released on November 8, showcases AM8IC’s unique universe with blockbuster-level scale, impressive visual quality, and the members’ intense chemistry and performance, building anticipation for the story they will tell.
The album includes six tracks: “Paracosm (Intro)”, “Escher”, “Buzzin’”, “Lukoie”, “Black moon”, and “Link up”, each representing different facets of this dark fantasy, from the boys’ determination amid chaos to their fight against despair and their search for connection and growth.
AM8IC consists of SAHO, MINGKAI, CHUNGYI, ROUX, and CHEN, all versatile in choreography, rap, and vocals, promising a complete group from their debut. The group’s name combines “AMBI-” (double) and “CONNECT,” symbolizing boys who are lost but find their growth and salvation through authentic bonds with each other.
The CEO of TOV ENTERTAINMENT, Yoon Beom-no, the originator of AM8IC, is a Korean choreographer who has worked in China, mentoring over 800 trainees across 50 agencies, contributing to choreography for survival programs on IQIYI and TENCENT, and launching the Chinese group FANXY RED. His extensive experience and expertise in artist creation and differentiated projects make AM8IC a future leader of the 5th generation of idols.
