Cast "낭만은 신기루"
KIM WOOSEOK, member of FANTASY BOYS, made his stage debut in the play “낭만은 신기루” (Romance is a mirage).
On November 13, KIM WOOSEOK played the role of Kevin Jeong during the premiere at Bukchon Changwoo Theater, captivating the audience with his subtle and moving acting. “낭만은 신기루” is an original human comedy that tells the story of love and relationships among young adults in the warm atmosphere of the guesthouse “Romance” in Jeju.
This production is a collaborative project involving students and alumni from Konkuk University, Department of Media Arts. Free performances were held from November 12 to 16 at Bukchon Changwoo Theater, while the main run will take place from November 18 to 24 at Blind Art Hall. KIM WOOSEOK will return to the stage on November 15, 16, 19, 21, 22, and 24.
After his premiere, KIM WOOSEOK said:
« I sincerely thank the professors, seniors, and fans who came to support my first theatrical attempt. It was an immense honor to share the stage with exceptional professors and seniors. Although I am still a novice in the dramatic arts, thanks to their support and encouragement, I learned a lot and grew during the rehearsal period. »
He added:
« Even during the week, seeing fans, the Bandi (the fandom), coming from afar to support my stage debut gave me enormous energy. Thanks to your encouragement, the premiere went perfectly. »
KIM WOOSEOK debuted with FANTASY BOYS through the MBC audition program “Boys Fantasy”, and later joined Konkuk University, Department of Media Arts, to fully dedicate himself to learning dramatic arts. This play marks his first step as an actor and opens new perspectives for his career.
Moreover, KIM WOOSEOK’s first theatrical experience has raised high expectations for his future acting activities.
