DESTINO from HYBE LATIN AMERICA has unveiled its new single “ALGO PARA SIEMPRE”.
Released on November 14 (KST), “ALGO PARA SIEMPRE” means « 영원한 무언가 (something forever) » in Korean. The harmonious sounds of percussion, bass, guitar, and accordion create a romantic atmosphere. The lyrics express the meaning of true love and relationships that remain unchanged over time.
The members said:
« Even if it’s not perfect, we wanted to create a song about true love that we build together every day. »
The music video for “ALGO PARA SIEMPRE” was directed by Latin Grammy-nominated director Camila Grandi. Fans participated in the filming by sharing their own “algo para siempre” and enjoyed DESTINO’s performances. Family love, friendship, and affection for pets are represented, warming viewers’ hearts. Seven sincere interviews were also produced and will be released on DESTINO’s official YouTube channel.
DESTINO was formed through the first local audition program for groups jointly organized by HYBE LATIN AMERICA and the U.S. Hispanic channel Telemundo, titled “Pase a la Fama”. The group reinterprets Norteño music from northern Mexico with a modern sensibility. They finished third in the program, showcasing their talent and charm, before officially signing with HYBE. HYBE LATIN AMERICA and S1ENTO RECORDS presented DESTINO as « creating innovative music that blends tradition, youth, and new musical narratives ».
Composed of six members with diverse backgrounds, DESTINO creates original music:

LUIS, the vocalist, has been practicing music since age 15.

ALAN, who plays multiple instruments such as percussion and drums, currently plays the bajo quinto.

JUAN, the bassist, quit his job after ten years to pursue music.

JOSE, the guitarist, grew up influenced by his great-grandfather, a composer.

FELIPE, from Monterrey, is the accordionist.

MARTIN, the drummer, started music within his family.
Before its official release, DESTINO performed “ALGO PARA SIEMPRE” at the major Mexican music festival “Festival ARRE” in September, receiving an enthusiastic response. “Festival ARRE” brings together iconic Mexican artists such as Fuerza Regida, Eslabón Armado, and Grupo Firme, and DESTINO delivered an impressively polished performance for an emerging group. They will also perform at the festival “Bendito Rodeo” on November 22 in Mexico.
