An executive from a well-known entertainment agency, who sexually assaulted an intoxicated woman and then left her on the road, causing her to lose her eyesight, has been handed over to the prosecution.

The Seocho Police Station in Seoul referred Mr. Go, a man in his fifties and an executive at an entertainment agency, to the prosecution without detention on November 19 on charges of attempted quasi-forcible sexual assault and injury by negligence.
Mr. Go is accused of picking up an intoxicated woman on a road in the Gangnam district last August, moving his vehicle to a commercial alley to sexually assault her, and then abandoning her on the roadside before driving away. It is reported that the victim was bleeding from injuries to her face at the time.
The woman was found 1 hour and 30 minutes after being abandoned, following a passerby’s report, and was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage, a skull fracture, and optic nerve damage. It was also revealed that she lost sight in her left eye.
The police had twice requested an arrest warrant for Mr. Go, but both requests were reportedly denied by the court.
