Member of INFINITE, LEE SUNG YEOL, will release a special single expressing his gratitude to his fans.
The agency MANAGEMENT 2SANG announced on December 8: “This song is a piece that LEE SUNG YEOL carefully created, expressing his deep gratitude for the love received from his fans over a long time, and materializing the emotions and stories he has kept in his heart for a long time.”
They added: “The wish to convey to fans his most sincere feelings is deeply integrated into this song.”
Regarding the title “Asteroid”, the agency explained: “SUNG YEOL directly participated in the composition with the songwriter, to convey his feelings to the fans while maintaining as much as possible the tone, emotional details, and original charm of the song, thus adding sincerity.”
The digital single “ASTEROÏD” will be released on December 12. It contains three songs, including the title track “Asteroid”, as well as “한걸음 가까이” and “Dive”. This project will also be available as a photobook album, adding a more special meaning.
The title “Asteroid” delicately depicts a heart wavering in the face of love, like a small star drifting in the vast universe. The voice, calm like a whisper over a soft melody, evokes an asteroid slowly orbiting a shared path. It is a piece that clearly shows LEE SUNG YEOL’s heightened sensitivity and musical color.
