BTS member V has had a Christmas song he performed selected by Billboard for its list of the “30 Best Christmas Songs of the 21st Century.”
On December 2 (local time), Billboard revealed the ranking titled “The 30 Best Christmas Songs of the 21st Century” on its official website. V’s song “Christmas tree” ranked 24th on the list.
“Christmas tree” is a track included on the original soundtrack of the SBS drama “Our beloved summer,” released on December 24, 2022. Built around a gentle acoustic guitar melody and minimalist instrumentation, the song was praised for the harmony between its delicate composition and V’s signature warm vocals. With this track, V also reached No. 79 on Billboard’s main singles chart, the Hot 100.
Currently, V is preparing a new album together with the other BTS members, aiming for a full-group comeback next spring.
