EXO member LAY will be absent from EXO’s fan meeting scheduled for December 14.
SM ENTERTAINMENT announced today on the fan community Weverse:
“Due to unavoidable circumstances, LAY will unfortunately not be able to participate in the fan meeting. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding this sudden change in the participating members.”
LAY was originally scheduled to appear at EXO’s fan meeting titled “EXO버스” (Exo‘verse), which is being held today at Inspire Arena in Incheon. Due to his absence, five members, SUHO, CHANYEOL, D.O., KAI, and SEHUN, will participate in the fan meeting.
This fan meeting marks EXO’s return to group activities after approximately two years since 2023.
EXO entered a hiatus period in 2019 as the members successively began their military service. As of last September, all members have completed their service, and the group plans to release a studio album in the first quarter of next year before resuming full-scale activities.
