SEO YOUNG TAEK was selected as “Outstanding Artist” at the “45th Artist of the Year Awards”.
On December 19, SEO YOUNG TAEK attended the ceremony held at PJ Hotel Caradium Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, where he also served as host, drawing attention for his ability to lead the event smoothly.
At the ceremony, SEO YOUNG TAEK received the “Outstanding Artist” award in the music category. Throughout the year, he carried out a wide range of musical activities, spanning classical singing, popular music, and musical theater, fully establishing his presence with the public.
The event was organized by the Korean Arts Critics Association (President Jang Seokyong) and honors artists who have achieved significant accomplishments in the national arts field.
Six categories were evaluated by members of the association to select the winners: Contribution Artist, Artist of the Year, Special Jury Selection Artist, Outstanding Artist, New Generation Artist, and Young Artist.
SEO YOUNG TAEK is a classical singer with an elite academic background, having graduated from Korea National University of Arts, School of Music, and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. He is also a member of the crossover group FORTENA, which is highly popular among fans. Recently, he played the role of “Shum” in the musical “STRAVINSKY”, demonstrating his presence as a musical actor.
