LEE CHAN HYUK of the duo AKMU shared his feelings on the occasion of his departure from YG ENTERTAINMENT, where he spent 12 years.
On December 31, LEE CHAN HYUK posted on his social media: “Goodbye, YG (2013–2025). Thank you for everything you have done for me. Thank you for helping me grow.”
The photo shared with the message shows LEE CHAN HYUK and his sister Lee Su-hyun standing in front of a banner bearing the inscription “Thank you for all those long days and long nights.” This banner, sent by LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SUHYUN along with a coffee truck to YG ENTERTAINMENT, expresses their gratitude toward the agency.
AKMU announced its separation from YG ENTERTAINMENT on December 21. After its departure, the duo plans to establish its own independent agency together with its longtime manager.
