ILLIT
The group ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) unveiled on January 5, through its official channels, the concept photos for its second Japanese digital single “SUNDAY MORNING”.

The classic atmosphere and the ravishing beauty of the five members draw attention. Positioned near a window bathed in warm light, they heighten excitement with their pure smiles or captivate by fixing the camera with mysterious gazes. The members wearing badges and each being busy cooking or cleaning have also sparked curiosity about the story that will be revealed next.
“SUNDAY MORNING”, which will be released on January 13 at midnight KST, is a J-pop rock–style track describing the grand and irresistible power of love. The song contains the sparkling emotion of a Sunday morning when one wants to run to meet the person they love, blended with delicate nostalgia. Singer MEGA SHINNOSUKE, born in 2000 and known for the song “愛とU (Ai to U)” that became popular on TikTok, participated in the composition, raising high expectations for the synergy with ILLIT, recognized as a “strong short-form player”.
This track will be used as the opening theme for season 2 of the animation “Tis time for “Torture,” princess”, broadcast on Japanese terrestrial channels and OTT platforms. Ahead of the broadcast, an audio snippet was pre-released on TikTok on January 5.
Attention is focused on ILLIT, which is kicking off its activities for the new year with “SUNDAY MORNING”, to see whether the group will once again produce a long-running hit, as it did last year. The theme song of the film “I can’t like you just by your face”, “Almond Chocolate”, released last February, enjoyed prolonged success on Japanese music charts and recorded remarkable performances across various annual rankings. As the Korean version released thanks to fan support also received positive reviews from both the public and the specialized press, expectations are high for the global trajectory that ILLIT will reveal with this new track.
