WAKER
The group WAKER returns with a new album, filled with tracks equivalent to a full album.
On January 6 at midnight KST, the group WAKER (Kohyeon, Kwon Hyeop, Ijun, Leo, Saebyeol Sebum) released on its official SNS the highlight medley video of its 3rd mini-album “IN ELIXIR : SPELLBOUND”.
The released video contains audio snippets of nine songs, including the title track “Like that”, capturing the attention of international fans. The first track, “11시 59분”, opens the album with a dynamic atmosphere, followed by the title track “Like that”, which addictively expresses the dizzying beats of love, shifting the mood.
Among the other tracks are “Lucid dream”, a synth-pop style song; “Revive”, featuring powerful dubstep beats and energetic vocals; and the lively dance track “10 outta 10”, demonstrating WAKER’s wide musical palette.
The second half of the album is equally diverse. The lyrical melody and soft voices of the members harmonize in “새벽별”, followed by the disco-pop “Feeling”, the pulsating beats of “Sugar crush”, and finally the intense hip-hop sound of “Drop out”, concluding the album and heightening fans’ anticipation.
Through this medley, WAKER captures the emotions of youth facing love for the first time: excitement, confusion, pain, and growth, signaling musical maturity. Attention is thus focused on the powerful performances and live stages the group will present with this new album.
Furthermore, WAKER, who has consistently offered mini-albums containing nine songs per release, will officially release their 3rd mini-album “IN ELIXIR : SPELLBOUND” on January 8 at 12:00 KST.
