On January 5 at 22:00 KST, PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT of HYBE MUSIC GROUP published on SEVENTEEN’s official SNS the tracklist of mini-album 1 “소야곡” by DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN.
According to the tracklist, the new album contains six tracks: the title track “Blue”, “Rockstar (DK Solo)”, “Guilty pleasure”, “Silence”, “Dream serenade (SEUNGKWAN Solo)”, and “Prelude of love”.
The track drawing the most attention is undoubtedly “Blue”. According to the agency, this song explores the theme “of love at different steps,” capturing the moment when the depth and speed of emotions begin to shift. The title, full of emotional resonance, promises a poignant harmony between DOKYEOM and SEUNGKWAN.
DOKYEOM and SEUNGKWAN not only included their respective solos “Rockstar (DK Solo)” and “Dream serenade (SEUNGKWAN Solo)”, but also participated in writing and composing every track.
The album name “소야곡” means “love song sung at night (Serenade).” DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN express through six tracks the different moments of an ordinary love, from boredom and disagreements to new beginnings. Recognized for their strong vocal technique and sensitivity, SEVENTEEN’s main duo asserts their presence as a classic Kpop vocal duo through this new album.
