KWON EUNBIN : An end of an adventure after more than 10 years, a new one that will begin

The member KWON EUNBIN of the group CLC announced her retirement from the entertainment world.

KWON EUNBIN made this known by putting online a long text on her social networks on June 16 in the morning. KWON EUNBIN announced: “Throughout my about 10 years of activities in the entertainment world, the disproportionate love and support of fans made me happy at every moment and I sincerely thank you”, and “During this long period of activities started since adolescence, the moments where I started to reflect naturally on my past, my present and my future over time increased, and at the end of this long reflection, I decided to lead the life of an ordinary person”.

KWON EUNBIN, who confessed having spent the major part of her time in emptiness and anxiety faced with the present and the future rather than in affection and love for her work, confided: “I spent regrettable moments uniquely destined to flee and to evacuate, without efforts to overcome these negative emotions and moments and to grow”.

KWON EUNBIN stressed: “I felt a great regret faced with my foolish past appearances and moments, and I decided from now on to leave behind all these moments and emotions which were negative and to devote my time to the pursuit of a better and happier future”, and “These days, I spend moments filled with more new and happy emotions than ever”.

KWON EUNBIN stressed that she would put an end to all her activities in the entertainment world with for end the overseas program of CLC which was already planned.

Born in 2000, KWON EUNBIN joined in 2016 the girl group of Cube Entertainment, CLC, as a new member after passing through the Mnet audition show “PRODUCE 101”. CLC officially dissolved on May 20, 2022, and KWON EUNBIN pursued her activities as an actress by appearing notably in “Bad papa”, “Somehow family”, “Hierarchy” and “Duty after school”. Then, the news according to which she was leaving Cube Entertainment due to the expiration of her contract last May 22 was transmitted.

“Hello, this is KWON EUNBIN.

I apologize for having caused worry to many people due to an unintentional article some time ago. I came to write this text because I thought it was my duty to directly announce my recent news and my decision to all the people who supported me in the meantime.

Throughout my about 10 years of activities in the entertainment world, the disproportionate love and support of fans made me happy at every moment and I sincerely thank you. During this long period of activities started since adolescence, the moments where I started to reflect naturally on my past, my present and my future over time increased, and at the end of this long reflection, I decided to lead the life of an ordinary person.

While looking back on past moments, I felt that the major part was moments spent in the grip of emptiness and anxiety faced with the present and the future, rather than in affection and love for her work. And I spent regrettable moments uniquely destined to flee and to evacuate, without efforts to overcome these negative emotions and moments and to grow.

Meaningless moments which absolutely did not benefit me for years, and in human relationships which were only empty shells where one could not even find nutritional value, I was wasting my precious moments.

I felt a great regret faced with my foolish past appearances and moments, and I decided from now on to leave behind all these moments and emotions which were negative and to devote my time to the pursuit of a better and happier future.

These days, I spend moments filled with emotions but also novelty and happiness more than ever. I am sorry for not being able to respond individually to all the people who contacted me with a sincere support and worry, but I will no longer receive any personal contacts or questions at all in the future, and I will preciously keep this grateful heart that you sent me.

Thereafter, I plan to put an end to all my activities in the entertainment world with for end the overseas group program of CLC which was already planned in advance. I sincerely thank you for the support that you sent me in the meantime and I hope that you will all be happy.
