DAY6
The group DAY6 spent a meaningful moment with its fans by selling out all three days of its fifth official fan meeting.
DAY6 organized its fan meeting titled “EVERY DAY6, EVERY My Day” from October 23 to 25 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. All sessions were completely sold out during the fan club presale alone, and the final day’s performance was also broadcast live online.
This fan meeting was designed around a multiverse concept traversing multiple parallel worlds. DAY6 kicked off the show with “Shxtty game” (망겜) and “Help me rock&roll” (도와줘요 록앤드롤), before performing its flagship tracks such as “Time of our life” (한 페이지가 될 수 있게), “My day”, and “Emergency”.
Dance performances, usually rare to witness, were also presented. The members drew loud cheers from fans by dancing together to 2PM’s “My house” (우리집), A2O LIGHT’s “Neon” (니온), as well as BTS’ “Boy in luv” (상남자). A surprise was also in store for the audience: DAY6 performed for the very first time in Korean “Finale”, the title song of its 2nd Japanese best-of album released in 2019. As this long-awaited scene unfolded for the fans, fervent cheers erupted throughout the hall.
The members expressed their gratitude toward the fans, stating: “If we were able to make it this far, it is thanks to My Day who love us”, adding: “What could these feelings we share with you be, if not love and happiness? Let’s laugh and enjoy together every time we meet”.
DAY6 will operate the pop-up store for this fan meeting until November 1 at Layer Studio Hannam, located in the Yongsan District of Seoul.
