The singer U SEUNG EUN returns with a mini-album after 11 years.
U SEUNG EUN will release her third mini-album “THE METEOR IS GLOWING” via various online music sites on June 18 at 6 PM KST.
“THE METEOR IS GLOWING” is an album that contains the journey to find one’s own light after a long period of time. It tells that even the moments that sometimes seemed to be at a standstill were ultimately a process to shine more intensely, and it merges with sincerity the moments of growth and change that U SEUNG EUN faced through music.
The title song “Glowing” is a track that contains the warm yet dreamlike voice timbre unique to U SEUNG EUN on a trendy R&B sound base. It delicately depicts the process where a lost and wandering heart discovers a small light it believed was extinguished, faces itself again, and slowly finds its own light. It transmits comfort with the message that the inner light, though weak but clearly existing, ends up illuminating life and makes one move forward again.
In the music video of the title song unveiled at the same time, the actress Park So Yi appears in the role of SUNG EUN during her childhood. Park So Yi interprets the image of the past, hurt and lonely despite her efforts to realize her dream of becoming a singer, while U SEUNG EUN expresses her interior that has grown through her image of the present having realized her dream. It is planned that it will offer a deep immersion by developing the narrative where the past and present of SUNG EUN cross through a cinematic direction similar to a movie.
